Material Description:
Al-6XN (UNS N08367) is a super austenitic stainless steel with excellent resistance to chloride ion pitting and crevice corrosion. As a corrosion-resistant alloy with good cost-effectiveness, its comprehensive corrosion resistance has greatly surpassed 316L. At the same time, compared with other corrosion-resistant nickel based alloys such as C-276, its corrosion resistance is similar, and its cost advantage is obvious. Due to the significant addition of nitrogen in the alloy, Al-6XN material has higher tensile strength compared to conventional austenitic stainless steel (such as 304316317), while maintaining excellent material toughness and impact strength The allowable stress value specified in ASME standards is 40% higher for Al-6XN compared to 316L and nearly twice as high as for copper nickel alloy. Typical working conditions: 60% sulfuric acid, below 80 ℃, with an annual corrosion rate of<0.1mm. Supporting welding materials and welding processes: It is recommended to use AWS A5.14 welding wire ERNiCrMo-3 or AWS A5.11 welding rod ENiCrMo-3 for alloy welding.
